My Extravagant Christmas Wish List

 

Happy December! Can you believe it’s almost Christmas!

I’m a dreamer. A goal setter. Most of my goals and dreams are geared towards my life purpose and building business and giving back but I also have a wish list of “things”, that if money was no object, I would love to be able to buy! I thought it would be fun to put together this Christmas wish list knowing that I’m definitely not getting anything of these items for Christmas! lol. But who knows, I can’t count the number of times I’ve said, I would love to have “X” and I’ve received it in some way! I usually put together a Dream Board every year or so and in reality many of these things would just be apart of that board.

I would also add that some of these items I have had my eye on for quite awhile, which to me is a good indicator that it would be something I would use for awhile and not just tire of after a short time. And if you’re looking for gift ideas (either to give or receive), these may be some good options for you. (I have linked most of them).

So lets get started with this extravagant wish list. I’ve broken it down into a few different categories, as well as linked each item. And if you’re reading this and you’re with one of these companies I would be happy to receive your product 😉 jk

Purses & Shoes

Do I even need to explain myself? lol These are some of the boots and purses I’ve had my eye on and have on my wish list. I love watching purse collection videos and purse reviews (shoes too). At this point, most of these are out of my price range (for now!), but a girl can dream. 🙂

Accessories

QuayXDesi shades! Need I say more? lol These are the black fades but I would love the whole collection!

Health & Beauty

I didn’t include makeup because, well, the list would just be way too damn long! lol

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I haven’t tried either Drunk Elephant or Sunday Riley but I’ve hear some amazing things about both these lines, especially for clearing up acne. I would love to try both of these lines but a couple items that that are stand out are Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos Glycolic Night Serum and Sunday Riley UFO Ultra Clarifying Face Oil. Have you tried either of these lines? What did you love? Or not love?

 

I haven’t tried this Amika Straightening Brush but I love the idea and it seemed to get pretty good reviews on Sephora. I have a GHD flatiron that I’ve had for quite a few years that I love and I would love to try out their curl wand. I curl my hair now with my flat iron but a wand makes a bit of a different curl. Have you tried either of these hair tools?

Have you guys tried any of these home items? I know some of them come with different models so I would love to hear which ones you’ve tested out!

I love using club soda or sparkling water to use for mix or to drink with a splash of fresh juice. Adds a little something over just drinking flat water without the added calories or sweetness of drinking pop or juice. I love baking and I’ve always wanted a stand mixer in my kitchen. My mom has a Dyson vacuum and it works amazing! They are more on the pricey side so this is definitely on my wish list!

I am not a morning person, especially when it’s dark out so much later in the winter months. I’m thinking this wake-up light might be helpful in my goal to get up a bit earlier. And of course who doesn’t love a nice smelling home. I love burning candles but of course you can’t leave candles burning unattended, and a diffuser would create a lovely smelling home all the time. Not to mention the different essential oils help in different areas (relaxation, headaches etc).

Tech

I currently have an iPhone 5s and it is not running the best anymore. Plus it’s only a 16GB! (Remember when that seemed like alot of storage. lol) Definitely time for an upgrade! I would love the Plus size as well. I’ve heard lots of good things about the iPad Pro and would love to try it out. I would use the iPad for editing pictures for Instagram etc as well. It would also work really well for my business and to take on appointments. Hand in hand with a iPad is a new laptop! My laptop has started to work slower and slower! UGH! Plus the battery needs to be replaced so I can’t use it without plugging it in (which kinda defeats the purpose of a laptop! lol). I currently have an HP but if I could choose, I would love to get a MacBook. Something I could still edit videos on but small enough that it’s easy to carry around, say if I want to go work at a coffee shop. I’ve seen a few Youtubers use this camera stand and it looks pretty handy. The legs are flexible and can be wrapped around objects to get that perfect shot. I’m not sure how convenient it is to carry around for vlogging though so I might want a different option that would be more discreet. (Vlogging can be awkward enough! lol)

Man would I love to upgrade my camera! I know quite a few of the Youtubers I watch use Canon but I’m partial to Nikon. My Dad uses Nikon and he highly recommends this brand (plus the lenses are interchangeable between the different models so I would be able to borrow lenses from him). I’m not sure which model would be at the top of my wish list though. Definitely would have to do some comparison shopping beforehand! The Sony camera would be my go-to for vlogging. I have also seen quite a few vloggers use this camera although I heard it has a problem with overheating. I would also add to my list, a ring light, stands and light boxes to round out my filming equipment list! As well as a really great editing program. I’d love to hear your camera and equipment recommendations! And what you mainly use the camera for. Let me know in the comments below!

 

Well that’s it! (As if there needed to be any more! lol) In reality these are items to add to my Dream Board that I hope to purchase some day. But it’s always fun to dream in the meantime.
