Baby Shower & Baby Shower Decor Projects | Part 2
I went to a friends baby shower a couple months ago and they had the cutest little ‘Wishes for…’ sheet that we filled out for the baby all the wishes we had for them. Well I loved that idea so much I incorporated it into a guestbook that Mom and baby Jessa will be able to enjoy for years to come. A little keepsake from the baby shower.
Here’s the front of the ‘Wishes’ guestbook. I made a stencil on my computer printed it off and used it for the front of the guestbook. I also had pretty pink translucent paper with little baby feet that I glued on the front as well. To put the whole book together I punched each page with my crop-o-dile and used a rope to ‘bind’ the book. Finished off with a little yellow ribbon on the ‘spine’ and a cute little pink polka-dot bow on the front!
Here’s a look at the inside pages of the guestbook. The pages are made out of scarp cardboard, covered with scrapbook paper. I wanted the inside design to be simple with the added embellishments because of the patterned scrapbook paper.
Each of the pages have the ‘Wishes for Jessa’ page on the right and room for a picture on the left.
There are extra blank pages in the guestbook (than the number of people that attended the shower) so Mom can have friends that were not able to attend, fill out a page for Jessa.
I love how this turned out and I’m excited for Mom (and one day, Jessa) to be able to go through and read all the ‘Wishes’.
